Early Life
Mario was born and raised in Cincinnati where he quickly learned the values of the Midwest. He became an entrepeneur at the early age of 9 years old when he started a baseball trading club within his community.
His first real job was a caddy at a local golf course where he was taught the power of investing and compounding interest. From there, he had various jobs including refereeing soccer games, while learning that hard work pays off.
Professional Life
Mario was a reservist in the United States Army. While serving in the military, he attended Tennessee State University where he found his footings to become a financial advisor. After graduation, he served as a manager for General Electric Finance were he received ground level experience in the financial world.
That experience gave him the confidence to become a financial advisor as he received the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses in his mid 20s. His practice continued to grow as he started his own wealth management firm in 2013. Years later, he renamed his firm TOAMS Financial, which stands for Tithe, Offering, Alms, Means, Stewardship.
Mario is a Dave Ramsey endorsed SmartVestor® Pro with clients from all walks of life spread between six different countries. In February 2022 he helped launched the first black owned AI powered ETF on the New York Stock Exchange.
Personal Life
Mario is a person of faith, believing in the power of God and recognizing the inherent responsibility to strive for personal excellence. He is married to his best friend and wife of 15 years, supporting each other and their business endeavors. Mario enjoys the wonders of fatherhood raising their rambunctious daughter. During his spare time, Mario enjoys running and gaming, embracing the opportunity to play while keeping his mind sharp.
